Is this a group tour?

No. Merci Baku is a hosted experience with a small number of confirmed guests. Each departure operates on the number of guests we can serve properly, and we do not publish a fixed group size.

Are families welcome?

Yes. Families are welcome. Please tell us the ages of children in your reservation request so we can plan appropriately.

How much free time is there?

A meaningful amount. Selected guided experiences in central Baku are balanced with free time to explore, shop, relax or enjoy the city independently, with our team on hand for suggestions and reservations.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, where possible. Please share dietary restrictions and allergies in your reservation request and we will discuss them with each venue in advance.

Are Formula One tickets included?

No. Formula One ticket arrangements are handled separately and are only included when expressly confirmed in your individual booking.

How do I pay?

Merci Baku is prepaid. You send a request, we personally verify availability, and you receive a written confirmation and a formal invoice. Payment is then made in full by bank transfer. Online card payment is being introduced; until it is available, confirmed reservations are settled by bank transfer. Card numbers are never entered on this website.

What is the total cost, and what is not included?

The price shown on the reservation page is per person, in US dollars, for the full stay including accommodation, the hosted evenings, breakfasts, curated daytime programmes and private airport transfers. International flights, visas, travel insurance, personal purchases and anything described as separately arranged — including Formula One tickets — are not included.

When do I actually pay, and how much?

Nothing is charged when you send your request — the amount charged today is US$0. After we personally verify availability you receive a written confirmation and a formal invoice stating your full total, the payment date and the cancellation terms. Full prepayment is then made by bank transfer.

Question 11

How is my money protected before I travel?

Accepted Answer

California law requires Black Sea Inc. to deposit 100% of customer travel funds into a business client trust account, and withdrawals may be made only in compliance with California Seller of Travel law. Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation is strongly recommended in addition.

What if I cancel, or you cannot operate the departure?

Cancellations are made in writing by email, quoting your booking reference, and take effect on the date we receive them. The refund treatment of your prepayment is set out in your written confirmation before you transfer anything. If we cannot operate a confirmed departure, you are offered an alternative date or a refund of the amounts paid for the affected services.

Who is my contact, and how quickly will you reply?

Every application and enquiry is read by a member of our reservations team, who replies personally — usually within one business day. You can reach them at any time by email, quoting your reference.

Do I enter card details on this website?

Accepted Answer

No. This website never collects, transmits or stores card numbers or security codes. Payment is arranged directly with Black Sea Inc. against your written confirmation, through a secure banking channel, and every payment is receipted.
